Let's just say it was crazy//busy//emotional. It included a wedding, a funeral, youth events, and a whole lotta family time.
Today is January 1st.
Today I was able to sit down, relax, and take a breath for the first time in 9-ish days.
I love the new year.
I am a sucker for resolutions//goals//plans.
Normally, I am not an optimistic person. I can make a 'glass-half-empty' situation into a 'glass-completely-empty-&-broken' disaster in no time.
However, despite that large flaw, I am always looking forward. I don't dwell in the past. I forget things easily, just ask hubster.
That's why I love the new year. A chance to look forward.
To dream.
To plan.
To improve.
Here are my resolutions... Not too many to overwhelm myself. Just a few very important ones.
- Spend more time in Scripture.
- Think less of myself, & more of hubster & junior.
- Trust God & worry less.
Another year.
Another chance.
Wow December sure does sound crazy. Wishing you a wonderful and happy 2013! :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like the best plans. Your first one drives the next two. I'm going to be studying Romans. Want to join me? Ps....you looked beautiful Sat.!
ReplyDeleteI like how you kept it simple with your new year plans. You made me giggle with your turning the glass into a broken disaster thought {I have that talent at times too}
