Loopy, exhausting, and sanity-crushing are my three adjectives for the day.
Causes?
My 2 year old son who has been in full tantrum mode this week with trouble adjusting to a bad cold and different schedule. Today he woke up at 5 a.m. {yesterday it was 4} in one of his half-asleep//inchoherent//screaming//body-throwing fits. After hubster left in the middle of the chaos, I resorted to taking junior out into the freezing cold garage to try and wake him up. He was distracted by the garage door. I let him push the living daylights out of those buttons. Up and down. Up and down. I don't care what the neighbors think. Problem solved.
My students had to take a rather intense reading test today. I won't elaborate, but let's just say it always leaves me pulling my hair out and wondering how in the world I got this job.
No specials today. A full day of stir-crazy first graders. Enough said.
Luckily, my experiences with thursdays have allowed me to provide many successful therapies for such days.
Therapeutic Interventions:
- Have hubster {perhaps guilt-ridden} take you out for lunch.
- Go home and watch Letters to Juliet. Love.
- Watch your toddler voluntarily clean the bathroom floor with a rag. And sweep the carpet. With a broom. Apparently the Lord recognized my uncleanliness as a cry for help and blessed me with a child who currently thinks cleaning is fun. Praise Jesus.
- Watch this gem of a video. Thanks Thad.
Perhaps the best workout video I have ever seen.
Tomorrow is Friday. Enjoy my creepy little monkeys {it's been way too long since I've said that}.

I could use a cleaning child... I had four (children) but none w/that beautiful adjective attached to the front of their name. ;) :)
